Somebody is methodically knocking off all the top mobsters in Detroit. Sergeant "Fang" Mulheisen has another tough case on his hands. All the clues lead to the same place: nowhere. Then Joe Service, Mulheisen's nemesis and successful "freelancer" turns up doing his own investigations.
