The Last Book In The World: The Travels of Jonathan Butter, the Greatest Character the World Has Ever Seen

It's a year not too long from this one and a mysterious plague has destroyed most of the Earth's trees. As the print industry shudders into silence, a librarian named Jonathan Butter has been granted the opportunity of a lifetime: he is to write the last book in the world. When a demon named Koob offers to help him with his writer's block, Jonathan finds himself trapped in a strange world behind the scenes of literature's classics. As his travels become more surreal, he must fight his way back to the real world, where his own unfinished story is not at all what it seems.
